Who We Are
Our Mission: to celebrate D3 runners
Have you ever seen meet results and wanted to know the story behind the results? It can be hard to find these stories with the lack of in-depth coverage of D3 running. As someone who believes in the importance of D3 running, Stu Newstat and Noah Droddy began the D3 Glory Days podcast to fill this void in coverage.
With the lack of exposure for D3 runners in the media, it can be difficult to follow the sport. As a result, many misconceive what it means to run for a D3 program, viewing it as a division with less talent and dedication. D3 has always had strong talent and is continuing to get faster. By telling these stories, we hope to show that running D3 is a valid first choice, not an alternative or last resort.
We aim to provide D3 runners, past and present, the coverage they deserve. Running D3 is a unique experience, and yet it is an experience that has been shared across generations. We believe that by highlighting the athletes, institutions, and performances that have shaped D3 running history, we can redefine D3 culture.
So far, we have been successful doing this with our podcasts. In order to change the way that D3 running is covered, we’ve expanded our team to include writers and editors. This allows us to go beyond podcasts to include articles and a weekly live show on YouTube.
We hope to continue growing D3 Glory Days to become the top source for D3 coverage, both past and present. If you would like to support our mission, check out our D3 Glory Days Patreon and if you have a story to tell, let us know.
